WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Sunday, May 22, 2016.
#1) The Pan Mass Challenge Wilmington-Andover Kids Ride will take place – rain or shine – this morning at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center (17 Boutwell Street). Students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 will ride on the track from 9am to 9:45am. Students in Grades 4 to Grade 6 will then ride from 10am to 11am. Registration costs $15. Students are required to raise at least $25, with a suggested target of $40. Learn more HERE.
#2) Massachusetts Men’s Roller Derby is holding its ‘Battle of Bunker Hill Invitational’ at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) today. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Wilmington United Methodist Church is hosting a Plant Sale from 8am to 11:15am on the church’s lawn at 87 Church Street. Learn more HERE.
#4) Merrimack Valley Pavilion (2087 Main Street, Tewksbury) is donating 20% of all sales (Mini-Golf, Laser Tag, Ropes Course, Arcade & Food) to the Wilmington United Methodist Church’s Youth Mission Team from 1pm-8pm. Necessary flyer is HERE.
#5) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal’s history and its impact on the area, including Wilmington.
