10 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (May 21, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TEN things to do today in Wilmington on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

#1) Wilmington High School’s Lamplighters Drama Guild presents CATS on Thursday, May 19, Friday, May 20, and Saturday, May 21 at 7pm. This musical, composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, will be performed in the Wilmington High School Auditorium (159 Church Street). Tickets cost $15 for adults and $12 for students, seniors (65 & older), and children (under 10). #2) Massachusetts Men’s Roller Derby is holding its Battle of Bunker Hill Invitational, featuring 10 sanctioned games at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22. Learn more HERE.

#3) Packet pickup and in-person registration will take place for the Pan Mass Challenge Wilmington-Andover Kids Ride from 9am to 11am at the Boutwell School. Learn more about Sunday’s ride HERE.

#4) The Wilmington United Methodist Church’s Youth Mission Trip participants will be holding a Car Wash fundraiser from  9am to 1pm in the parking lot of the Tewksbury United Methodist Church (2335 Main Street).

#5)  The undefeated Shawsheen Tech Girl Varsity Lacrosse team is holding a fundraising Car Wash from 10am to 1pm outside the Automotive Shop at the school (100 Cook Street). All proceeds — $5 per wash —  will directly benefit the team.

#6) There are THREE yard sales in Wilmington today, including a fundraiser for Beyond TOPS. Get the details HERE.

#7) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less!  Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.

#8) The Wilmington Food Pantry (142 Chestnut Street) is open from 10am to noon for food donation drop-offs. Learn which food items the Pantry is most in need of HERE.

#9) The Town’s Yardwaste Center, located off Old Main Street at the Wilmington/Woburn line, is open for leaf and brush drop-off from 9am to 4pm. Learn more HERE.
