5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (May 10, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

#1)  The Shawsheen/West PAC is holding a fundraiser at Wilmington’s Panera Bread (228 Main Street, Wilmington Plaza) from 11am to 9pm. Bring the flyer HERE (or show it on your phone) and a percentage of your bill will be donated to PAC.

#2) The Wilmington High School DECA Club is holding a “Dining For A Cause” Fundraiser at the 99 Restaurant (144 Lowell Street) from 4pm to 11pm. Bring the flyer HERE and 15% of your bill will be donated to WHS DECA.

#3) From 5pm to 8pm, Fuddruckers — inside Jordan’s Furniture in Reading — will donate 20% of your bill to the Wilmington Relay For Life.  Bring the flyer HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO events today — Poetry Night (7pm-8pm) and Hand Lettering Craft (7pm-8pm). Learn more and register HERE.  If you can’t make Poetry Night, read this year’s Poetry Contest winners HERE.

#5) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is hosting its normal Tuesday activities —  Aerobics (10:30am); Wii Bowling (12:30pm); and 3B Fitness (2pm).

PLUS: WHS Boys & Girls Track travels to Burlington High at 3:30pm. WHS Boys Tennis travels to Woburn High at 3:30pm. WHS Boys Lacrosse hosts Reading at 4pm at Wilmington High. WHS Girls Lacrosse faces Reading at 6pm at Parker Middle School in Reading.

PLUS: The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury) holds bingo — open to the public — every Tuesday at 6:45pm. Doors open at 5pm. Pizza, hot dog and pastries are sold. Free coffee.

PLUS: Red Heat Tavern is holding its weekly bar trivia (pub quiz) with Geeks Who Drink from 7pm to 9pm. Learn more HERE.

PLUS: Angels In Motion meets every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue).  The club provides a great opportunity for seniors to meet new friends or reacquaint with old ones.  Spend the day playing cards, board games, or just chatting with folks!  A luncheon is served as noon.  There are NO fees. The KofC Hall is handicap accessible.
