WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, April 25, 2016:
- Manager of Z&S Gas Station on Main Street requested an officer to review security footage form Friday regarding a shortage from the register. (8:21am)
- A caller reported a man was a causing a disturbance and threatening an employee at Peter’s Pizza & Roast Beef on Lowell Street. Police responded. No further details provided. (11:10am)
- A deceased rabbit was removed from the roadway of King Street. (11:33am)
- A caller reported he and his girlfriend are receiving harassing phone calls from his mother. Police contacted mother and she agreed to stop the calls. (11:49am)
- A caller alleged his sister was slapped in the hand by a security officer at the Registry of Motor Vehicles on Middlesex Avenue. Police responded. No further details provided. (12:30pm)
- A white 2000 Cadillac Eldorado crashed into a pole on Glen Road. No injuries reported. Vehicle was towed. Pole was damaged. RMLD repaired. Driver was cited for speed and marked lanes violation. (1:41pm)
- A Lawrence Street caller requested extra patrols in the afternoon, around high school release time, due to excessive speeding. (2:19pm)
- 2 ATV’s were reported on Walnut Street, but police were unable to locate. (3:27pm)
- A Glendale Circle caller reported receiving an IRS scam call. (4:20pm)
