WILDCAT WAKEUP: WHS Girls Tennis Win Again, Back At .500

WILMINGTON, MA —The WHS Girls Varsity Tennis Team (3-3) won their second consecutive matchup, defeating Woburn, 4 to 1, at Wilmington High on Thursday afternoon.

  • Wilmington freshman Emily Hill defeated Elizabeth Ryan, 6-3, 6-1.
  • Wilmington junior Sam Maragioglio defeated Marissa Gattuso, 6-1, 6-1.
  • Wilmington senior Jess Nussbaum fell to Arianna Ramirez, 6-1, 6-1.
  • Wilmington juniors Christina Woods and Lou Schramm defeated Bridget Towle and Julie Milia, 6-2, 6-0.
  • Wilmington juniors Christina Wright and sophomore Lauren Field defeated Mo Sullivan and Rebecca Donahue, 6-2, 6-4.

NEXT UP: The WHS Girls Tennis Team (3-3) take on Burlington on Friday, April 29 at 3:30pm at Wilmington High.
