WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Sunday, February 21, 2016.
#1) The Northeast Motorcycle Expo is in town this weekend at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). Expo runs from 10am to 5pm. Admission is $15 for adults, $6 for children (6 to 12), and kids under 6 are free. Learn more HERE.
#2) The Woburn Boys and Girls Club (1 Charles Gardner Lane, Woburn) is holding a 4-week lifeguard training course beginning TODAY, from 4pm to 8pm. The Wilmington Recreation Department encourages any high school (16 and up) or college student interested in lifeguarding at Silver Lake this summer to take the course. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitors’ Center (71 Faulkner Street, North Billerica) is open from noon to 4pm. Learn about the canal’s history and its impact on the area, including Wilmington.
#4) ICYMI: Wilmington Community Television launched a brand new show this week — Town Topics — where WCTV Executive Director Shaun Neville will interview key town officials and department heads. The debut episode features a discussion with Town Manager Jeff Hull. Watch it HERE.
