WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, January 25, 2016:
- A black 2000 Toyota Camry and a black Toyota Rav4 were involved in a crash at Main Street and Lowell Street. No injuries reported. One vehicle was towed. (6:25am)
- Reports of threats made at ‘2 Guys and a Truck’ on Fordham Road by a former employee. (12:24pm)
- A silver 2010 Volkswagen Passat and a green 2006 Dodge Caravan were involved in a minor crash at Middlesex Avenue and High Street. (12:54pm)
- An Elwood Road resident reported tire tracks on her property, possibly from ATVs. Resident requested extra patrols and was advised to call if she sees anything. (3:08pm)
- A child was reported missing from Milestone Group Home on High Street. Milestone never reported that the child had returned after having previously gone missing. (3:13pm)
- Police issued a citation to a driver for sending and receiving electronic messages. (3:26pm)
- A Burlington Avenue resident reporting receiving an IRS scam call. (3:34pm) A Curtis Street caller received a similar call. (5:34pm) A Chestnut Street caller received an IRS scam call too. (7:47pm)
- Employees of Lubrizol Advanced Materials on Lowell Street complained of vehicles speeding through their parking lot. Police issued a citation to a driver for speeding. (5:11pm, 5:19pm)
- Police received reports of a vehicle fire on 93 North near Exit 40. Fire Department and State Police responded as well. No vehicle was on fire, but a green 2000 Dodge Dakota was overheating. Vehicle was towed. (6:15pm)
