WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, December 28, 2015:
- Property manager from Dynamex on Ballardvale Street reported a box truck was spray painted. (10:13am)
- A West Street caller located what he thought could be a cannonball while attempting to install a fence. Wilmington Police contacted the State Police, who determined the object was not a cannonball. (10:50am)
- K9 Ridic underwent training on Butters Row. (12:23pm)
- A power outage occurred in the Wilmington Public Safety Building. Power was lost for a minute or two. Radios and computers were affected. The town’s IT and Public Buildings Departments were notified. (12:24pm)
- A Park Street caller requested an officer stating his juvenile daughter was home and observed a pickup truck pull into the driveaway and place a ladder against the house. Caller stated his daughter believed there was a person on the roof. Police responded. Situation checked out. Person on roof was from the chimney company. Father notified. (1:14pm)
- Police restored the peace between a grandmother and an “out of control” grandson. (4:05pm)
- A black 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee and a white 2012 Isuzu NQR truck were involved in a minor crash in the Salvation Army parking lot. (4:11pm)
- Amanda Provitola (30, Wilmington) was issued a summons for using a motor vehicle without authority and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. (5:05pm)
- An employee at Bimbo Bakeries on Ballardvale Street reported receiving threats from a fellow employee. (7:56pm)
