Wilmington Special Education PAC To Hold Parent Workshop On November 16

WILMINGTON, MA — Is your child just disorganized and forgetful, or could it be more? The Wilmington Special Education PAC (SEPAC) is holding an important parent workshop on Monday, November 16 at 7pm in the Wilmington High School’s Large Instruction Room.

Jackie Stachel, from Beyond BookSmart, will conduct the workshop: Executive Functions: Fit The Strategy to the Learning Profile.

Parents will learn:

  • What is Executive Function?
  • How do IQ and Executive Functions differ?
  • Specific Executive Function skills that students need to be successful
  • Tools and strategies to support students with a variety of learning profiles
