WILMINGTON, MA – Wilmington Public Schools are seeking substitute teachers at the elementary school, middle school and high school levels, according to a job listing posted earlier this week.
Substitute teachers in Wilmington make $65 per day for their first 10 days. The daily rate then increases to $75 per day (without a Massachusetts teacher/license certification) or $80 (with a Massachusetts teacher license/certification). Days do not need to be consecutive.
Applicants with a current Massachusetts teacher certification, 2 years of relevant experience, and a bachelor degree are preferred. Citizenship, residency or work VISA in the United States are required.
The school system is also seeking substitute educational assistants, which make $60 per day.
