10 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (October 29, 2015)

Here are TEN things to do today in Wilmington on Thursday, October 29, 2015.

#1) The Wilmington Educational Foundation will hold its 6th Annual Halloween “Walk for WEF” today. Times vary depending on the school. Approximate times are Boutwell, Wildwood & West at 9:30am; North at 1pm (5th) & 1:30pm (4th); Woburn Street at 1:45pm; and Shawsheen at 2pm. If it rains it will be held indoors. #2) Grace Chapel (128 West Street) is holding a Trunk or Treat event from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, open to all Wilmington kids. Learn more HERE. (NOTE: The event was originally supposed to be held yesterday, but was postponed due to the forecast.)

#3) The 2015 Mr. and Mrs. WHS Contest, sponsored by the Wilmington High School Mentoring Program, will take place at 6:30pm in the WHS Auditorium.

#4) The Wilmington Middle School (25 Carter Lane) is hosting a Halloween Dance for 6th graders from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. Tickets cost $5 and may be purchased in students’ homerooms. Learn more HERE.

#5) The Boston Bruins is holding a free, public practice at 10am at Ristuccia Arena (190 Main Street). Learn more HERE.

#6) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is screening the new Jurassic World movie at 6:30pm. Learn more and register HERE.

#7) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Thursday activities — Walking Group (9am); Computer Class (9:15am); Bocce (9:30am); Art Class (10am); Aerobics (10:30am); and Games Day (1pm). #8) The Appointing Committee to the Wilmington Finance Committee meets at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9) to potentially fill the vacant Finance Committee seat. Read the agenda HERE.
