POLICE LOG from October 16: Wilmington Police Arrest 2 Alleged Drug Dealers

WILMINGTON, MA — 52 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Friday, October 16, 2015.  Here are NINE highlights:

  • A caller reported a vehicle backed into her at a stop light near Target on Ballardvale Street and left towards Andover. The collision caused minor scuffs. (8:55am)
  • A caller reported a man standing by an open manhole cover at Woburn Street and Industrial Way. Police spoke with the man, a representative from Allen and Associates. Police advised them regarding opening a manhole cover in an intersection without notifying DPW and without a detail. (11:50am)
  • A white 2001 Ford Cutvan and a Silver 2002 Ford Windstar were involved in a minor crash at Sonny’s Mobile on the Run on Lowell Street. (12:23pm)
  • Fray Luis Rosario (40, Haverhill) and Juan Ulloa (18, Lawrence) were arrested for possession to distribute a Class B Drug, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and possession of a class B drug. Men were arrested on Freeport Drive. (2:58pm)
  • A Tewksbury resident reported she was walking her dog on Main Street and a small pitbull attacked her dog. She stated there were no visible injuries. She requested a call from the Animal Control Officer. (4:43pm)
  • A hit and run was reported in the Registry of Motor Vehicle parking lot. A black 2009 Toyota Scion was struck. Owner did not have a description of the vehicle that struck her car. (4:57pm)
  • A Speedway employee reported a man was in their bathroom for approximately 30 minutes and did not answer. Employee was concerned for the man’s well-being. Police responded and sent the man on his way. (6:26pm)
  • A caller reported someone pushed a carriage into her vehicle, causing damage, in the Target parking lot. Words were exchanged and the vehicle left. Police reviewed the video surveillance and the incident did not occur as described. There was no damage visible to the vehicle. (7:29pm)
  • A&M Car Service dispatcher reported an unruly and combative customer in a company vehicle at West Street and Lowell Street. Disurbance was over wrong destination address given. Police transported the customer to North Reading. (7:54pm)
