Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Sunday, September 27, 2015.
#1) The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 11th Annual Wilmington Half Marathon and 5K Run/Walk. Participants meet at WCTV’s parking lot (10 Waltham Street). Registration and sign-ups runs from 8am to 9:30am. Racers/walkers need to be at the starting line between 9:30am and 9:45am. Races begin at 10am. Learn more HERE.
#2) Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) and Tremezzo Ristorante (2 Lowell Street) are offering post-race discounts to runners. Runners who show their race bib on at those two restaurants will receive ½ off appetizers.
#3) The third annual Sean Collier Cornhole Tournament will take place on Sunday, September 27, 11am to 6pm, at MIT’s Briggs Field (301 Vassar St., Cambridge). Teams of 2 can enter for $30. General admission is $5. Learn more HERE.
