BILLERICA, MA — The Shawsheen Tech’s student-run Dining Room — “The Ram’s Head” — is opening for the school year this Tuesday, September 22, according to an announcement sent to Wilmington Apple.
Information about the restaurant, provided by Shawsheen Tech, can be found below:
Food service continues to be a thriving industry worldwide. The Ram’s Head Dining Room is a direct connection to the Culinary Arts shop. The Ram’s Head is a student run restaurant. Our students receive on-site training, such as; preparing the food, setting the tables, serving the patrons, clearing the table, and completing register transactions. As the students progress to the upper class, they learn a more detailed style of service, as well as restaurant management.
Our menu changes daily to allow the students to see many different styles of food, both in cooking procedures as well as ethnic styles.
Our restaurant services the community who are looking to find a quality homemade meal that is also affordable. In addition to serving the restaurant, we offer party platters for any occasion, aswell as frozen entrées that can be purchased to take home. The restaurant is open Tuesday thru Friday. 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
To make a reservation, please call 978-667-2111 x 668 between 8:30 A.M. & 10:30 A.M.
Reservation can be made for the 11:30 or the 12:15 seating [note: website says 12:15pm, but announcement says 12:00] in advance or for the same day. If leaving a message, please include your name, phone number, day and time, and number of people. We will call back to confirm!
