Here’s Wilmington Apple’s Question of the Day for Thursday, September 17, 2015: Do you any Wilmington businesses (e.g., restaurants, stores) that offer discounts to seniors and/or veterans?
According to various lists circulating online:
- Burger King offers a 10% discount to customers over 60.
- Chili’s offers a 10% discount for customers 55 and older.
- Dunkin Donuts offers a free donut to AARP members with the purchase or a large coffee.
- McDonald’s offers discounted soft drinks and coffee to customers over 55.
- Sonic offers a 10% discount or a free drink to customers over 55.
- Subway offers a 10% discount to customers 60 and over.
The lists note, however, that discounts vary as they are sometimes left to the franchise owner’s discretion..
