OBITUARY: James “Jim” McTeague, 79

James “Jim” McTeague of Reading, formerly of Somerville, September 14, age 79.

Jim was the beloved son of the late James McTeague and Kathryn (Connors) McTeague. He was the devoted husband of the late Mary M. (Sheehy) McTeague.

Jim was a longtime resident of Reading and a former Vice President at Compugraphics Corporation in Wilmington.

He was the very proud father of four daughters. He leaves behind his daughters Janice Olson and her husband Tim of North Attleboro; Donna Sadoski and her husband Paul of Georgetown; Maureen Eustis and her husband Bill of East Greenwich, RI and Carolyn McTeague and her fiancé Dr. Wayne Trebbin of Middleton. He was the adored grandfather of Madeleine, Jack, Emma, Meghan and Katelin. Jim was devoted to his family and spent every moment of his life loving his wife, daughters, grandchildren and extended family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jim’s Life Celebration on Thursday September 17 from 4pm to 8pm at the Douglass, Edgerley, and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn St.) in Reading. His funeral will be held from the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home on Friday September 18 at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. in Reading at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Wood End Cemetery in Reading.

In lieu of flowers, Jim would love to have donations made to the Mission of Deeds 6 Chapin Ave. Reading, MA 01867.
