This successful fundraiser for the Angel Fund for ALS Research attracted nearly 200 participants, including Town Manager Jeff Hull, Library Director Tina Stewart, Public Buildings Director George Hooper, Selectman Chair Mike Champoux, Wilmington School Committee member Steve Bjork, Shawsheen Tech School Committee member Robert Peterson Sr., and Wilmington Recreation Commission Chair — and Wilmington Rotary President — Michael Burns, just to name a few!
In a letter to the Town Crier last week, the group thanked the following who contributed to the event’s success: Home Depot, the Lowell Spinners, Tremezzo Ristorante, the Friendship Masonic Lodge, the Shriners, the Billerica High School Varsity Soccer Team, the Knights of Columbus, Travel ‘N DJ Sounds, the Wilmington Town Crier, the Wilmington Recreation Department, and the Wilmington Fire Department.
If you could not attend the event, please note that it’s not too late to make a contribution! Mail your donation to Wilmington Rotary Club, PO Box 508, Wilmington, MA 01887.
