PHOTO OF THE DAY: Gardening Volunteers Recognized At Wilmington Library & The North

Earlier this week, North Intermediate School Principal Christine McMenimen took to Twitter to thank parent volunteers for fixing up the school’s front garden.

PAC member Stephanie Almeda posted the below before-and-after photo of the garden in the Northside PAC Facebook group, noting the garden was destroyed last summer after the removal of an old oil tank and septic system.

Also this week, the Wilmington Memorial Library recognized one its volunteers for caring for the flowers in the barrels outside the building.
