QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should Wilmington Start School Before or After Labor Day?

Here’s Wilmington Apple’s Question of the Day for August 31: Should Wilmington start school before or after Labor Day?

Wilmington starts school tomorrow  — Tuesday, September 1.  With five snow days built in, Wilmington students will theoretically get out of school on Wednesday, June 22. See the school year calendar HERE.

(By the way, the forecast calls for highs of 85, 93 and and 89 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.)

Shawsheen Tech, for comparison sake, starts school for freshmen next Tuesday, September 8 and for all students on Wednesday, September 9.  With five snow days built in, Tech students will theoretically get out of school on Monday, June 27. See the school year calendar HERE.
