5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (August 25, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Tuesday, August 25, 2015.

#1) The Shawsheen Tech School Committee meets at 7:30pm in the Tech’s John P. Miller Committee Room. Read the agenda HERE. The Shawsheen Tech School Committee’s Facilities Subcommittee also meets at 6pm.

#2) The Reading Symphony Orchestra is holding auditions from 6:30pm to 10pm at Unitarian Universalist Church of Reading (239 Woburn St., Reading). Wilmington residents are encouraged to try out. Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its regular Tuesday activities — Walking Group (9am); Bocce (9:30am); Aerobics (10:30am); Wii Bowling (12:30pm); and 3B Fitness (2pm). Learn more HERE.

#4) WHS Freshmen Football tryouts takes place from 9am to noon at Wilmington High. Learn more HERE.

#5) Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) is hosting its weekly Geeks Who Drink Pub Quiz at 7pm. A portion of the evening’s sales will be donated to Angel Flight.

PLUS: Wilmington Dance Academy (335 Main Street) is holding an Open House from 4pm to 7pm.
