WILMINGTON, MA — Buddy, a Wilmington dog missing since October, was spotted in nearby Wakefield late last week.
Owner Deborah Edgerly took to Facebook on Monday to alert the community:
“People in Wakefield…..please be on the lookout for my dog Buddy. He has been seen on Water, Albion, Vernon, down by the lake and on Friday late in the day on Franklin. He is dirty and thinner. He has a German Shepherd coat and thick curly tail. Hope he has his purple collar and tags. He has been missing for months and runs from people. If u c him, call us immediately and keep an eye on him if you can til we can get to you. Take a picture!!! Please SHARE! I really thought we were going to get him this past weekend. We need him home!! Thanks! 978-988-6306.”
