POLICE LOG for July 9: 2 Men Allegedly Caught Breaking & Entering; Panhandlers On Main Street

WILMINGTON, MA — 70 incidents were entered into the Wilmington Police Log on Thursday, July 9.  Here are SEVEN highlights:

  • A walk-in party from Wildwood Street reported that a man was making harassing comments on her Facebook posts. (8:26am)
  • Eric Regan (34, Billerica) and Dylan Hanson (20, Missoula, Montana) were issued summons for breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor. The men allegedly broke into an abandoned home in the Burlington Avenue/Boutwell Street area. (9:39am)
  • A Horseshoe Lane caller requested the Animal Control Officer respond to remove a cat with four kittens from a nearby wooded area. (11:05am)
  • CVS on Main Street reported a shoplifting incident from last night, captured on video. (11:38pm)
  • A passerby reported panhandlers in the area of CVS on Main Street were harassing people and yelling back and forth at each other. Police spoke with all parties. (1:50pm)
  • A mailbox on Federal Street received damage sometime overnight. (2:57pm)
  • A Boutwell Street caller reported receiving annoying phone calls from individual claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. (3:00pm)
