5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (July 16, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Thursday, July 16, 2015.

BONUS: After last night’s postponement due to the dicey forecast, the Wilmington Recreation Department continues its “Concerts on the Common” series with a performance from local musician Joe Leary at 6:30pm. Learn more HERE.

#1) Wilmington Elderly Services Commission meets at 1:30pm at the Senior Center. Read the agenda HERE. Wilmington Water & Sewer Commission meets at 5pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.

#2) The Boston Bruins continue their 4-day Development Camp at Ristuccia Arena. The 10am on-ice session is open to the public. Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is hosting a jazz piano concert at 2:30pm. Pianist Deborrah Wyndham will perform ragtime, boogie woogie, novelty, stride and jazz standards of the 30s and 40s interspersed with information on the composers. Familiar show tunes and the music of Gershwin will be included. Learn more and register HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open from 10am to 2pm. Tour the museum for a glimpse into the town’s past – experience the house and Wilmington’s history!  Learn more HERE.

#5) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Thursday summer activities — Walking Group (9am), Bocce (9:30am), Aerobics (10am), Game Day (1pm) and Outdoor Yoga (6pm). Learn more HERE.

ALSO: Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) is offering live music with The Erinn Brown Band at 8pm. Tremezzo Ristorante (2 Lowell Street) is offering live music with The Joe Mack Band at 7:30pm.
