5 Things To Do Today In Wilmington (June 25, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Thursday, June 25, 2015.

#1) Elia’s Country Store (381 Middlesex Avenue) is running an Italian Margarita and Flavored Rum Tasting from 5pm to 7pm. Learn more HERE.

#2) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is running a program — “Protect Your Nest Egg” — at 7pm. “Attorneys Raymond Cannon and Bridget Murray will talk about how to preserve your assets during your lifetime: liability protection, the new Homestead Law, asset transfers, long term care insurance, and Medicaid planning. They will also address how you can protect your assets after you die: probate avoidance, estate tax minimization or elimination.” Register HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Town Museum (430 Salem Street) is open from 10am to 2pm.  Learn more HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its usual Thursday activities — Walking Group at 9am; Art Class at 10am; and Aerobics at 10:30am. Sign-ups begin for the Center’s annual cookout on Tuesday. July 7. Tickets cost $7.  Learn more HERE.  At 7pm, come see the Delvena Theatre’s production of “Merman, Minnie, Mae & Me” on the Swain Green, as the Center kicks off its “Splash Into A Happy Summer” series of fun programs for seniors.  Learn more HERE.

#5) Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) is hosting live music with Ricky King Russell at 8pm.  Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street) is hosting live music with Vanessa Salvucci at 7:30pm.
