WILMINGTON, MA — Tremezzo Ristorante has found a fun way to drum up a little business while making connections within the community and raising funds for worthy charities.
On Monday, June 1, from 5pm to 7pm, Tremezzo is hosting Wilmington Good Guy Chip Bruce as its “Celebrity Guest Bartender.” Bruce, the popular longtime Wilmington Police Officer who will be retiring next month, is well-known in the community for his time on the force, as a School Resource officer, and as a hockey and soccer coach. The restaurant encourages his co-workers, friends, and former players to “give Chip a hard time while he slings some drinks for the charity of his choice!” Tremezzo will donate 10% of sales to Chip’s preferred charity.
Chip will actually be the restaurant’s second guest bartender.
Last Monday, May 18, Kathaleen Rooney-Gray, owner of the Wilmington Dance Academy, took and served orders to raise funds for Traveling Tutus, a charity that gives dance attire and accessories to children in need.
