Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Saturday, May 23, 2015.
#1) The public is invited to participate in one of the town’s Memorial Day Weekend observances — decorating of veterans’ graves at the Wildwood Cemetery beginning at 8am, followed by the decoration of all the town’s memorials and squares. Learn more HERE.
#2) Visit the Barnes and Noble in Burlington (98 Middlesex Turnpike) and a portion of your sale will be donated to the Wilmington-based iPods for Wounded Veterans. Online purchases count too! This fundraiser runs from Saturday, May 23 to Friday, May 29. Learn more HERE.
#3) The Wilmington Food Pantry is open for donation drop-off from 10am to noon.
#4) Tremezzo Ristorante (2 Lowell Street) is hosting live music. Hot Tub Piranhas take the stage at 8:30pm.
#5) Cheer on some Wildcats without even leaving town! The WHS Baseball Team takes on Chelmsford in the semi-finals of the Dick Scanlon Memorial Baseball Tournament at noon at the North. View the complete WHS sports schedule for the week — including away games — HERE.
