5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (May 22, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Friday, May 22, 2015.

#1) Stay in and watch the Wilmington-based Merrimack Valley Chorus compete on the Season Finale of “Sing That Thing” at 8pm at WGBH2.  Learn more HERE.

#2) Today is the deadline to enter the Wilmington Art Center‘s 35th Annual Art Show, scheduled for June 5 to June 7. Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center has cancelled its usual slate of Friday activities to hold its annual Memorial Day Luncheon at noon.  Registration for the event is now full.  Learn more HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding a drop-in Story Time at 10am in the Meeting Room. “Drop in for stories, songs, rhymes and a fun craft!  Ages 2-5 and one or more adults.”  The library’s Needleworkers also meets from 10am to noon. “If you do any kind of needlework, this group is for you. Bring a project and work away while enjoying a little conversation and camaraderie. Drop in.”

#5)  Cheer on some Wildcats without even leaving town!  The WHS Boys Varsity Lacrosse team battles North Reading at 4:30pm at Wilmington High.  View the complete WHS sports schedule for the week — including away games — HERE.
