WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Community Television did not upload any new videos to its website this week, so nothing to share in that regard, but the studio still have spots available in its popular Summer Youth Program.
WCTV’s Summer Youth Program is outlined in a recent announcement on its website.
Students (ages 9-11) will learn how to create, produce, direct, and edit their own TV commercials and movie trailers. In the process, these students will learn how to use studio and field cameras.
Students (ages 12-14) will learn more “advanced” techniques on creating, producing, directing and edition their own TV show, movie trailer and interviews. In addition to studio cameras and field cameras, these students will also learn how to use computer editing software.
WCTV will host a public screening of all the students’ works at the end of the summer.
Students ages 9-11 meet for two classes — Monday, June 29 to Friday, July 3 and Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31, from 10:30am to 1:30pm.
Students ages 12-14 meet for two classes — Monday, July 13 to Friday, July 17 and Monday, August 10 to Friday, August 14, from 10:30am to 1:30pm.
