5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (May 15, 2015)

Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Friday, May 15, 2015.

#1) The Wilmington Public Schools is holding its annual district-wide Art Show from 6pm to 8pm in the Wilmington Middle School Cafeteria.  The show continues tomorrow from 11am to 3pm.  The free event features artwork from all grade levels and all eight schools.  Learn more HERE.

#2) The Abundant Life Christian School Drama Club is presenting “The Murder Mystery at the Murder Mystery” at 7pm at the school (173 Church Street).  Tickets cost $5 at the door.  Learn more HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center is running its usual slate of Friday activities — Video Exercise at 10am; Special Exercise at 11am; Cards at 1pm; and Bingo at 1pm.

#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding a drop-in Story Time at 10am in the Meeting Room. “Drop in for stories, songs, rhymes and a fun craft!  Ages 2-5 and one or more adults.”

#5)  Cheer on some Wildcats without even leaving town!  Lots of varsity teams are at home today.  WHS Girls Tennis takes on Wakefield at 3:30pm at Textron Courts; WHS Baseball battles Stoneham at 3:45pm at the North; WHS Girls Lacrosse battles Stoneham at 5pm at Wilmington High; and WHS Softball hosts Stoneham at 6pm at Town Park on Route 38.  View the complete WHS sports schedule for the week — including away games — HERE.
