WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Department of Public Works will be conducting roadway grinding and resurfacing on Nichols Street, Fairmeadow Road, Jere Road, Flagstaff Road, Harris Street and Cedar Street, potentially starting Monday, May 11, 2015. This date may be postponed due to inclement weather or scheduling delays with the Town’s roadway contractor.
During grinding and paving operations, Nichols Street, Harris Street, and Cedar Street may be closed in one direction, depending on traffic conditions and equipment accessibility.
This restriction may be altered during construction for concerns due to safety or traffic volume. Area residents will have access to and from their properties at all times, although there may be short delays.
Drivers are asked obey the directives of police details, detour signs, and warning signs during all construction operations.
If you have any questions, or require additional information, please contact the Department of Public Works at 978-658-4481.
(NOTE: The above is a notice from the Wilmington Department of Public Works. Wilmington Apple ran a similar notice back in April, but the start date has since been changed.)
