Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Monday, May 11, 2015.
#1) The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meet at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the meeting agenda HERE. The Wilmington Housing Authority also meets at 4pm at Deming Way’s Community Hall. Read the meeting agenda HERE. Meetings are open to the public.
#2) The Wilmington Memorial Library is holding a PJ Storytime at 6:30pm. “Wear your snuggly pajamas and bring your favorite teddy bear or blanket and enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and more! Ages 2-5 and one or more adults.” No registration required.
#3) The Wilmington Senior Center is running its usual slate of Monday activities — Blood Pressure Clinic at 9:30am, Exercise Classes at 9:45am and 11am; Knitting/Crocheting at 11am; and Quilting at 1pm. The Senior Center is also screening “Sweet Magnolias” at 1:30pm.
#5) Cheer on some Wildcats without leaving town! The WHS Boys Tennis team battles Melrose at 3:30pm at the Textron Courts. The WHS Baseball team hosts Wakefield at 3:45pm at the North. The WHS Girls Lacrosse takes on Reading at 4:30pm at Wilmington High. The WHS Softball faces off against Wakefield at 6pm at the Town Park on Route 38.
