Now is the time to show off your special talents! Parents, friends, and siblings are invited to attend the performance.

Welcome to Wilmington Reception
Thursday, April 30, 6:30 pm

Are you new to Wilmington or have you lived here for awhile and wish to know more about the community? Then please come to the Welcome to Wilmington Reception. This is your chance learn about local organizations and services and to meet others from the community.  There will be community group representatives on hand to welcome you and answer questions.  Refreshments will be served.  This program is in collaboration with the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.

Poetry Night
Tuesday, April 28, 7 pm

Winners of the 2015 Poetry Contest will read their poems and be awarded their prizes.  All are welcome to attend.

Putting Your Best Foot Forward-Tips for Making the Best First Impression
Monday, April 27, 9:45 am coffee, 10 am speaker

Steve Pangione, Human Resources Manager for Wolfe Laboratories, will discuss the real-life experiences he has had during the hiring process: the do’s, the don’ts, and the “be careful” scenarios. Steve will go over the impressive, and not so impressive, resumes and cover letters he’s received over the years to ensure you don’t make the same mistakes others have made. He will also go over how to present best during a phone interview, and how to stand out in a crowded field of job seekers by leaving a positive impression.

Wednesday, April 29, 7 pm

Not sure what to read? Reader extraordinaire and host of WCTV’s Book Stew, Eileen MacDougall, is back with more good titles for the spring.  You will have the opportunity to share your favorites as well.

30 Minute Crafts for Teens: Plucked Petal Necklace *RR

Are you creatively-driven but too busy to attend other teen events? Create a fun and colorful necklace in a half hour using a paper punch and paint chip samples.

Teen Writers’ Workshop – Getting Published *RR
Thursday, April 30, 2:30 pm

Do you dream of getting recognition for your writing skills? Is your goal to freelance but you’re not sure where to begin? Learn all about blogging, searching for online freelance jobs, and getting published in print. You’ll leave this workshop with a list of resources extremely useful for writers looking to get published. Grades 9+

Drop-In Baby Times

Babies and their caregivers will enjoy this fun storytime that includes rhymes, songs, books, scarves, shakers, bubbles, and a parachute.  Infants through 24 months.

Dads and Donuts
Saturday, April 25, 10:30 am

Dads and their kids ages two and up are invited to drop in for stories, songs, rhymes and more.  Moms, grandparents and other caregivers are welcome, too! Ages 2-5 and one or more adults.

Imajine That STEM: April Showers *RR
Monday, April 27, 10 am

Discover what really happens when it rains and what we use to protect ourselves from getting soaking wet! Ages 3-5.

Sewing Fun *RR
Monday, April 27, 3:45 pm

Using basic hand sewing techniques, you’ll learn how to create your own adorable felt stuffed creature. Grades 2-5.

Registration begins 30 days prior to the event. Please register online using our Calendar of Events at www.wilmlibrary.org or by calling (978) 694-2099 (for Adult) or (978) 694-2098 (for Children/Teen). Please note we request registration for programs that are marked (RR).

(NOTE: Library Lineup is submitted by the Wilmington Memorial Library.  Lineup will typically run every Wednesday.)
