Are you new to Wilmington or have you lived here for awhile and wish to know more about the community? Then please come to the Welcome to Wilmington Reception. This is your chance learn about local organizations and services and to meet others from the community. There will be community group representatives on hand to welcome you and answer questions. Refreshments will be served. This program is in collaboration with the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce.

Putting Your Best Foot Forward-Tips for Making the Best First Impression

Steve Pangione, Human Resources Manager for Wolfe Laboratories, will discuss the real-life experiences he has had during the hiring process: the do’s, the don’ts, and the “be careful” scenarios. Steve will go over the impressive, and not so impressive, resumes and cover letters he’s received over the years to ensure you don’t make the same mistakes others have made. He will also go over how to present best during a phone interview, and how to stand out in a crowded field of job seekers by leaving a positive impression.
