WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington United Methodist Church recently announced it will be holding a panel discussion on domestic violence on Wednesday, May 6 at 7pm in Fellowship Hall at the Church (87 Church Street).
The panel will include two members of the Wilmington Police Department and representatives from local non-profits REACH and RESPOND.
According to its website, REACH is “a non-profit organization providing safety and support to survivors of abuse while engaging communities to promote healthy relationships and prevent domestic violence.”
According to its website, RESPOND is “New England’s first domestic violence agency and the second oldest in the nation, a pioneer in the movement to end domestic violence.”
This free event, organized by the Wilmington United Methodist Women’s Group, is open to all. A goodwill donation will be collected to support both non-profit organizations. Light refreshments will be served.
