WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Recreation Department’s Annual Fishing Derby is set for Saturday, June 6, 9am-noon at Silver Lake. (The rain date is Sunday, July 7.) Registration opens at 8:30am in the Bath House. There’s a $2 registration fee for ages 17 & under and a $4 registration fee for ages 18 & over. Worms will available for purchase. Prizes will be awarded to contest winners. Only shore fishing is permitting; no boats allowed. For this day only, no fishing licenses will be required.
