WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) has recently started a support group for parents and caregivers. The group will next meet on Monday, April 6 at 6:30pm in the back conference room of Panera Bread (228 Main Street). According to its website, the group allows parents to “share ideas, challenges and dreams in an informal and friendly atmosphere.” For more information, email the SEPAC at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Wilmington SEPAC is also conducting an online survey of Wilmington parents who have children on IEPs (individualized education programs). Its results will be presented to the Wilmington School District administration and School Committee. The survey, which runs until April 20, will take 5-10 minutes to complete. Learn more about the survey on the SEPAC website. Take the survey HERE. Email the SEPAC at email@example.com with any questions or comments.
