Italian Consulate Visits Wilmington Schools To Observe Italian Program

WILMINGTON, MA – Last Wednesday, Domenico Savio Teker – the Director of the Scholastic Office of the Italian Consulate in Boston – visited the Wilmington Middle School and the Wilmington High School to learn more about the school district’s Italian program.

Teker briefly recapped his visit to Wilmington on his website HERE.  You can read Italian, right? 🙂

After visiting Ms. Katia DeStefano’s 6th Grade Italian class, Teker remarked that he was very impressed with the “busy” students who desire to learn the Italian language and its importance within the community.  He said the students did an “Ottimo Lavoro,” or “Great Job,” in the classroom.
