WILMINGTON, MA — The deadline is fast-approaching for this year’s Wilmington “GOOD GUY” nominations. Don’t forget to nominate that special person you feel should be recognized by the town.
The “Good Guy” Award is given annually to an outstanding citizen — male or female — who lives in our community and gives of themselves to make our community a better place in which to live. A person’s work performed as an elected official or through a paid employment position is not eligible for the award.
Nominations should be sent to the “Good Guy” Committee, c/o Bob DiPalma, 12 Harold Avenue, Wilmington, MA 01887, and should include your reasons why your “Good Guy or Gal” should be selected. If you wish to email your nomination, send it to: wgoodguy@verizon.net. All entries must be received no later than 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 28, 2015.
The award will be presented at the 47th Annual “Good Guy” event on Friday, May 8, 2015, at the Knights of Columbus, Wilmington, with a social time at 6:30 P.M. and dinner at 7:30 P.M.
This will be your last opportunity to take a few minutes and let the Committee know who you feel is most deserving of this year’s “Good Guy” Award. Thank you for nominations.
