Help Save This Cat’s Life! Wilmington-Based Cat Rescue’s Online Auction Ends Tonight

WILMINGTON, MA — A recently rescued 6-month-old Wilmington tabby cat named “Prince” is fighting for his life and could use your help.  (Watch a short 30-second video of Prince HERE.)

Prince, a kitten who is presenting with tremors and impaired balance, needs medical testing and treatment to save his life. The Wilmington-based Lots of Love Cat Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is currently holding an online Facebook auction, featuring nearly 250 items, to help raise the necessary funds.

View the auction items, current bids and auction rules HERE.  (You need a Facebook account to place a bid.)  Many of the items are geared towards pet lovers.  The auction ends this Sunday, March 1 at 9pm (EST).

Want to support the cause without participating in the auction?  Lots of Love Cat Rescue accepts donations on their website HERE via PayPal.  (Look for the small yellow & blue “donate” button under the large rotating banner of cat photos.)

Lots of Love Cat Rescue, according to its website, was founded on the strongly held belief that “no animal should have to go hungry, be homeless or live in fear or pain.”  The organization, which does not receive any funding from government agencies or national animal welfare agencies, is run and supported by volunteers, with a shared mission to “rescue, provide sanctuary, and re-home abandoned, stray and neglected cats.”  Learn more about the organization HERE.
