WILMINGTON, MA — Tewksbury Board of Health member George Ferdinand has declared he is running for State Representative in the 19th Middlesex as an Independent. The 19th Middlesex district covers all of Wilmington and most of Tewksbury.
Ferdinand, a former Wilmington resident, is holding a campaign fundraiser on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 6pm to 10pm, at the American Legion in Wilmington (5 Bay Street).
Margie Campbell, an Independent running for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts, will speak at the event. Campbell is a Wilmington native.
