Wilmington Police Department Raising Funds For Greg Hill Foundation With Peace Officer Memorial Day Patches

Below is an announcement from the Wilmington Police Department:

WILMINGTON, MA — As we approach Peace Officer Memorial Day on May 15, 2024, we’re proud to announce a special initiative to honor the memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community.

Wilmington Police Officers now have the option to wear specially designed patches throughout the month of May to commemorate this solemn occasion. These patches serve as a symbol of remembrance and gratitude for the bravery and dedication of our law enforcement officers.

We are extending this opportunity to our community as well. For $10, you can purchase one of these commemorative patches. 100% of the proceeds will go to The Greg Hill Foundation, which will then directly support the family of Waltham MA Police Department Officer Paul Tracey. Officer Tracey tragically lost his life in the line of duty on December 6, 2023, leaving behind his wife and two children.

Patches can be purchased at the front desk of the WPD or conveniently online HERE.
