WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for May 2, 2024: Baby Ducks Rescued From Storm Drain

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, May 2, 2024:
  • A caller reported 3 large boxes delivered to his residence by UPS that do not belong to her. (1:24pm)
  • A walk-in party reported a Bitcoin scam. (1:59pm)
  • Tewksbury Police reported man on a scooter weaving in and out of traffic on Salem Street. Wilmington Police were unable to locate. (2:24pm)
  • A North St. caller reported a group of baby ducks fell into a storm drain. Police contacted DPW. Workers removed all the ducklings from the drain. (3:08pm)
  • A caller reported a dispute over a gas payment at Super Petroleum on Main Street. Customer allegedly grabbed the employee’s arm. Police responded and restored the peace. Payment was collected. (3:38pm)
  • A caller reported two male parties on bicycles were verbally harassing her and her friends at Cumberland Farms. Police responded. Juveniles were no longer in the area. (4:18pm)
