WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for April 3, 2026

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, April 3, 2026:

Police assisted the Fire Department with a chemical spill outside Hubbard Hall on Progress Way. (10:10am)

Police spoke with an ice cream truck at Yentile Farm regarding not having the proper permits. Owner was advised on what he needed to do and returned home for the day. (2:18pm)

Police notified DPW of stop sign leaning halfway towards the ground at Everett Avenue and Faulkner Avenue. (5:55pm)

A juvenile bicyclist was struck by a vehicle outside Market Basket. Juvenile only suffered small lacerations. Bicycle was under vehicle. Parents arrived to pick up juvenile. Driver was cited for a crosswalk violation. (6:28pm)

Tractor trailer unit took a wrong turn and ended up on Burt Road, where it took down wires. Wires landed on truck. Driver was able to safely escape. Police notified RMLD and Verizon. (9:29pm)
