I encourage you to join me in supporting Gary DePalma in his candidacy for re-election to the Board of Selectmen. Having known Gary for many years, I have witnessed firsthand his deep commitment, dedication, and passion for our community. He consistently works to ensure that Wilmington remains a vibrant and sustainable place for residents and future generations alike.

During his tenure on the Select Board, Gary has proven himself to be an effective and dependable leader. He has demonstrated a strong commitment to transparency and accountability, always keeping the best interests of Wilmington taxpayers at the forefront. His broad understanding of town departments, combined with his willingness to speak up on critical issues, has made him a strong advocate for policies that enhance the quality of life in our community.

Gary’s background in local and state law enforcement, along with his experience in public service, has contributed greatly to his effectiveness as a Selectman. He has consistently taken a proactive role in addressing challenges facing the town—opposing initiatives that could negatively impact residents while championing those that promote long-term stability and growth.

His service on the Disability Commission, Economic Development Committee, and Wilmington Public Schools Strategic Plan Committee reflects his dedication to thoughtful, balanced progress. Gary continues to support initiatives such as senior housing, a community center, and a fire substation, while prioritizing public safety and community well-being. He has also worked collaboratively with the business community to support responsible economic development and strengthen local opportunities.
