Wilmington Community Television is hosting debates for Wilmington School Committee candidates and Wilmington Select Board candidates beginning at 6:30pm. The debates will air live on WCTV’s main channel (Comcast 9, Verizon 37) and stream live on WCTV’s website (wctv.org) and YouTube channel (youtube.com/@WCTVWilmington). The School Committee debate, which is scheduled to run from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, will feature candidates Adrian Babu (challenger), Dr. Jennifer Bryson (incumbent), and Michael Mercaldi (incumbent). (Bryson and Mercaldi have confirmed their participation in the debate.) The Select Board debate, which is scheduled to run from 7:45pm to 8:45pm, will feature candidates Gary DePalma (incumbent), Rob Fasulo (challenger), Sivakumar Mallaiyasamy (challenger), and Frank West (incumbent). All four candidates have confirmed their participation in the debate. The debates will be moderated by Wilmington Town Moderator Jonathan Eaton.

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events & activities: Preschool Storytime (10am); Connect With A Social Worker (10am-2pm); and Slice & Dice – A Pizza and Table Top Game Night (6pm).
