5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Saturday, April 4, 2026: Easter Egg Hunt On Town Common

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, April 4, 2026:

The Junior Chapter of We’re One Wilmington (WOW) invites children of all ages to the Town’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 2pm on the Wilmington Town Common. Thousands of eggs will be placed on the Common. The hunt begins at 2pm. Please do not arrive before 1:45pm. Families should bring their own baskets or bags. There will be a section for ages 4 and under and a section for ages 5 and up. If a parent needs to be with more than one child, the parent and younger child go with the older one. Get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny after the event.

The New England Woodcarvers is holding a special carving meetup, from 9am to 4pm, in the basement of St. Thomas Church (126 Middlesex Avenue). This event is open to the public, from seasoned wood carvers and those wanting to learn something new. Anyone under the age of 16 needs to have an adult with them. Attendees may come and go as they please. Bring $7 for a pizza lunch, or bring your own sack lunch. The event features carving projects for attendees with different skill levels. April’s carving projects include Ball In Cage; an Easter Egg; and Bunny in Egg. Attendees may also bring their own projects to work on.

The Wilmington Yardwaste Center on Old Main Street will be open on  from 9am to 4pm for the drop-off of leaves and brush. Learn more HERE.

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Drop-In Story Time (10am).

The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.

Pacific Grove (211 Lowell Street) hosts karaoke from Winnell Entertainment on Saturdays beginning at 8pm.
