Republican State Senate candidate Ted Semesnyei will be holding a campaign event at 6:30pm at the Tewksbury-Wilmington Elks (777 South Street). Semesnyei is running for the 2nd Essex and Middlesex District seat currently held by Democratic State Senator Barry Finegold. The district includes both Wilmington and Tewksbury. The event will focus on fighting the MBTA Zoning Control and Security Election Integrity. In addition to Semesnyei, Wilmington’s Joe Maselli and Jeff Cohen will speak, as well Attorney General candidate Mike Walsh.

The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding the following events and activities: Baby Time (10am); Introduction to Curling (10am); Crafternoon (3:45pm); and Taking iPhone Photos that Pop (6:30pm).
The Wilmington Senior Center (130 Main Street) is holding the following events and activities: Gentle Yoga (9am); Art (9:45am); Meditation (10am); Weight Loss Support (10am); Massage Sessions (10am); Knitting & Crocheting (10:30am); Chair Yoga (11:30am); Cardio Drum Fit (1pm); Ceramics (1:30pm); and Chair Yoga/Pilates (2pm). JEWELRY WANTED: The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library is collection of new or gently worn jewelry to support their annual jewelry sale, scheduled for April 10, 2026 and April 11, 2026. Donated jewelry supports library programs and special projects. Contributions of any size are welcome, and even a single piece can make a difference. New and gently worn jewelry in good condition may be dropped off year-round at the library’s circulation desk. All types of jewelry are accepted.
The WHS Girls & Boys Tennis Teams host Stoneham at Wilmington High at 4:15pm. WHS Softball takes on Lowell at Lowell’s Cawley Stadium at 4:30pm. WHS Varsity Boys Lacrosse hosts Winchester at Wilmington High at 5pm.
