The Wilmington Rotary Club and WHS Interact Club wish to thank all of those who made donations and/or who came out to support Saturday’s Polar Plunge at Silver Lake. All proceeds will be donated to the “End Polio Now” Campaign in support of Rotary International’s quest to rid the World of the debilitating Polio Virus.
Seventeen Wilmington Students and two Rotary Club Members made the plunge on a chilly and breezy day for this this annual event. Parents, friends and several Rotary Club Members were in attendance to cheer on these brave plungers. Donations will continue to be collected through the end of next week at the Go Fund Me link at: Donate to Wilmington Rotary Interact Polar Plunge, organized by Patrick Giroux.
