The Wilmington Sons and Daughters of Italy is holding a Diaper Drive on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9am to 3pm, and Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 9am to 2pm, at the Wilmington Fourth of July Building on Middlesex Avenue. The Easter Bunny will be present for photos from 9am to 3pm on Saturday and 9am to 1pm on Sunday. Be a part of Peter Pan and Wendy’s adventures with the Lost Boys in five live performances on Saturday, March 28, 2026 (10am, 2pm, 6pm) and Sunday, March 29, 2026 (11am, 3pm) at the Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road). The Wilmington Rotary Club and the Wilmington High School Rotary Interact Club will be hosting and participating in our fourth annual “End Polio Now” Polar Plunge Fundraiser at Silver Lake’s Town Beach at 11am. All proceeds raised will go to Rotary International in its continuing efforts to eradicate the disease of Polio from the World. A “Go Fund Me” Account has been set up to receive donations at https://gofund.me/ce72ece1a. Unheated changing facilities are available at the Beach House and a Pizza Luncheon will be served at a local restaurant for all who participate, following the event.

The Town of Wilmington Health Department is hosting its Annual Rabies Clinic, from noon to 1:30pm, at the Public Buildings Department (30 Church Street). Rabies vaccines will be available for dogs and cats at a cost of $10 per animal. Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in a carrier. Representatives from the Town Clerk’s Office will also be available during the Rabies Clinic to process dog licenses. The cost for a dog license is $10 per spayed/neutered dog, and $15 per non-spayed/non-neutered dog. Late fees for dog licenses will be enforced after April 1, 2026. North Shore Vendor Events is excited to hold its 8th Annual Spring Fling Event, from 11am to 3pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (121 Middlesex Avenue).
