WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, March 20, 2026:
P. Welch (53, Wilmington) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. (8:29am)
C. Garcia (34, Lowell) was served a summons for Shoplifting By Asportation ($250+ value). Incident took place at Target. (11:34am)
A walk-in party reported at approximately 3:34pm today, a man entered the Wilmington Plaza Wine & Spirits and shoplifted a handle of Vodka, valued at $12. Manager did not want to pursue charges, just wanted the payment. (4:55pm)
A caller reported a male party was walking down Parker Street, towards Frangos, dressed in all tactical/camo with his face covered and carrying what appeared to be a long gun. Police responded. Man was in parking lot in front of liquor store. Not as reported. Man was carrying an umbrella. (8:19pm)
