Annual Poetry Contest: Submission’s Open Now!
Celebrate National Poetry Month by submitting to our Annual Poetry Contest: Words That Grow! For more information, visit https://wilmlibrary.org/community/poetry-contest-2026/. Plus, join us for a Poetry Night on May 20th at 6pm to celebrate the winners and enjoy refreshments. The deadline to submit a poem is Thursday, April 30th.

This year’s sale will be held on Friday, April 10th from 5-8pm (with timed tickets) and Saturday, April 11th from 9am-2pm. The Wilmington Wellness Coalition and Wilmington Memorial Library offer free, confidential sessions with the Town of Wilmington’s social worker on the first and third Tuesday and second and fourth Thursday of the month.
